Selling your books at Myopic

We are always looking for quality used books in many diverse subject areas such as: Art, Architecture, Fiction, History, Psychology, Philosophy, Science Fiction, Poetry, Cooking, Sociology, Music, Drama....and many more.

You can sell us your books for store credit, or cash. We pay a fair price for good books!

REGULAR (walk-in) BUYING HOURS
Fridays from 6PM to 10PM
Saturdays from 11AM to 6PM

A party can bring up to 3 boxes or 4 grocery bags once per day during the walk-in hours.

For larger quantities (10 + boxes), we make appointments on Thursday afternoons. Contact Jon or Cat at 773.862.4882.

If you have slightly more than the walk-in amount, but less than 10 boxes, we suggest you either pare down what you have by using the guidelines below or make two separate trips on two separate days.

We will not take walk-ins on Thursday.

WE DO NOT BUY OFFSITE, OR DO APPRAISALS.

How it works

Bring your books in during our Buying Hours

Check in at the front. We keep a list, and attend to each person in order of arrival.

Stay with your books, no drop offs.

During busy buying hours, the wait may be around a half an hour.

Books that we do not buy, you must take back with you.

We do not accept donations.
